No testing. The project was assembled but never run end-to-end. It might work. It might not. You find out on demo day.

No documentation. You get the hardware but no circuit diagrams, no source code comments, no report material. You are on your own for the viva.

No support. If something breaks before demo day, you are calling a number that does not answer.

How to evaluate a quote

When you get a quote from a project centre in Bangalore, ask these questions:

  • Is this built in-house or sourced from a supplier?
  • Can I see the circuit diagram and component list before I pay?
  • What is included in the documentation package?
  • What happens if it does not work on demo day?
  • Will an engineer walk me through the design on handover?
